Generally, a desiccant (quicklime) is often put in some food packaging bags to prevent the food from getting damp.

Desiccants are also called adsorbents, which are used to prevent moisture and mildew, and play a drying role. According to different adsorption methods and reaction products, they are divided into physical adsorption desiccants and chemical adsorption desiccants.

Silica gel, alumina gel, molecular sieve, activated carbon, bone charcoal, charcoal, mineral desiccant, or activated clay are required to form a physical adsorption desiccant, which physically adsorbs water molecules in its own structure to achieve dryness effect.
