General packaging plastic bags do not need to be perforated, but in order to release the air in the bag after sealing and avoid the air occupying space, the perforation is required to deflate. The air hole are generally punched in the body of the bag. There are also round holes or butterfly holes punched in the top of the bag, which are used for hanging, called hanging holes.

Punching In order to prevent children from suffocating the bag on the head, another important reason is that if the plastic bag is not punched, there will be air in it. After a long period of shipping, water vapor will be generated inside and the product inside will become damp, moldy or rusty, so it must be punched.
